Studio Policies

TUITION:
Monthly tuition is due the last week of the month for the upcoming month. Payments may be made in cash or personal check payable to Cool Piano Songs. Credit card and PayPal payments may also be made online at CoolPianoSongs.com. Tuition is nonrefundable

ATTENDANCE:
Consistency is very important in the study of music. Regular attendance at your weekly lessons/classes and practicing between lessons is crucial to your development as an artist. A minimum of 24-hours notice is required to cancel or re-schedule lessons. If less than 24- hours notice is provided, students will be charged for the missed lesson. Group classes are not rescheduled if a student misses. Please make every effort to attend your weekly class.

ILLNESS:
In consideration for the instructor and others, students should not attend lessons when ill. Please notify as early as possible if you must miss a lesson or group class due to illness.24-hours’ notice is preferable, but when this is not possible due to sudden onset of illness, please call or email first thing in the morning on the day of your lesson if you must cancel.

MATERIALS:
Voice students should bring a recording device, a 3-ring binder, and a pencil with them to each lesson. You will receive study materials and printed arrangements of popular songs to keep in your binder, and will make a recording of your vocal exercises and songs during your lesson or group class. These are your tools for practicing between lessons.

Piano/Keyboard students will receive printed arrangements of popular songs and exercises which are yours to keep. Please bring a 3-ring binder w/ plastic sleeves to protect all your music. Please bring all books to each lesson.

HOLIDAYS:
The following holidays are observed. Students will not be scheduled or charged for lessons on the days.

New Years Eve & New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day

Note: If the instructor is ill or has an emergency and cannot make it to class, lessons & group classes will be rescheduled to another time/day.
